As the designer and builder of this website, I can attest that age does not matter as long as both parties love and respect one another. I am married and there are 18 years between my wife and I with my wife being the senior. This year, 2021, August 9th, we celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary. I believe that the secret to a great marriage is a willingness to compromise on both sides and come to mutual agreements. A wise man once told me to never sweat the small stuff. It makes no difference to argue over insignificant trivial details. He also said, never go to bed angry. This was the priest that married us 35 years ago and I still hold his words dear.
In my opinion, age can play a role in relationships, but it’s not the most important factor. What truly matters is mutual respect, understanding, shared values, and emotional maturity. These are the things that can make a relationship strong and lasting. However, it’s also important to note that every relationship is unique and what works for one might not work for another.
